Project Overview
Scan As You Go is a combination of UX, UI, and industrial design project that aims at improving the user experience of using the 160-year-old London transport system for passengers with language barriers, mobility-impaired, and those with fear. The design places a strong emphasis on providing personalized and simplified travel information for a complex system.

PROBLEM
It is hard to find a mobile phone signal underground, so users may feel nervous when using the transport in London.
GOAL

Simplify travel information by minimizing the number of times you click the screen.

EMPATHIZE
Interviewed London Underground passengers users to understand their needs and pain points. Including tourists, elderly, and mobility-impaired passengers.
DEFINE
Discovered the expectation of customers and figured out what they concerned about.

IDEATE
Find out the pros and cons of other food ordering apps and optimized the user experience.
PROTOTYPE
Created Low-fidelity prototypes and mockup for the sushi app. Took reference to the accessibility and brand DNA.
TEST
Tested with 3 users to obtain feedbacks when using the prototype. Also improved the accessibility.
